Congratulations on your upcoming event or wedding day.   We provide an up to 25% discount for advance bookings and we would be happy to provide you with the services to capture the memories of your special day.
 
Most of our packages include 2 photographers  and  provide a minimum of 200 photos,  also proofs, parent albums, high resolution CDs and   some of our packages also include professional  videography.   If none of our packages fit your needs, or budget simply design your own custom package and we will give you a quote by email. Tell us exactly what you want and we will send you a price within 12 hours. Take anything out of the packages or add anything into it. Or you can start from scratch and just list the features you want.

1. Minimum Deposit of 50% for Weddings, Corporate Events and  private parties is required as a retainer at the time the Event date is booked by the client
   
2. The remaining balance is due the day of the  Event date
   
3. All  deposits are nonrefundable, in the event of a date change or cancellation by the client for any reason.
   
4. Prints and  images will be delivered at the time of the  Event date.
   
5. If  Edward Bates is unable to perform to the guide lines of this contract due to a fire or other casualty, act of God, act of Terrorism, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to a grave illness of photographer Edward Bates; and if Edward Bates Photography is unable to provide a photographer that is agreeable to the client, then all fees paid by the client will be returned in full, but Edward Bates Photography shall have no further liability with respect to the agreement. If Edward Bates Photography is unable to perform to the obligations in this contract for reasons outside the sole control of Edward Bates, he will not be liable for cost in excess of the amount paid by the client for the services to be provided by Edward Bates. The limitation of liability will also apply in the event that negatives or digital images are lost through camera malfunction, damaged in processing, lost in the mail, or other wise damaged or lost without fault of the photographer.
   
6. The client will obtain proofs and/or digital images which may be used for newspaper announcements.  Images may be used by the client for personal use only, and may not be sold or published without the consent of Edward Bates.
   
7. All rights to the images created by Edward Bates will remain with the photographer. Edward Bates Photography reserves the right to display any photographs made in conjunction with this Event as samples of his work for the purposes of window and showroom exhibit, advertising, promotion on the Internet, publication, instruction and professional competion.
   
8. Clients grants Edward Bates Photography the unrestricted right and permission to copyright and use, re-use, publish, and republish photographic portraits or pictures of the client or in which client  may be included intact or in part, made through any and all media now or hereafter known for illustration, art, promotion, advertising, trade, or any other purpose whatsoever. Client also permits the use of any printed material in connection therewith. Client hereby relinquish any right that client  may have to examine or approve the completed product or products or the advertising copy or printed matter that may be used in conjunction therewith or the use to which it may be applied. Client hereby release, discharge and agree to save harmless [photographer], his/her heirs, legal representatives or assigns, and all persons functioning under his/her permission or authority, or those for whom he/she is functioning, from any liability by virtue of any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the taking of said picture or in any subsequent processing thereof, as well as any publication thereof, including without limitation any claims for libel or invasion of privacy. Client hereby affirms that I am over the age of majority and have the right to contract in my own name. I have read the above authorization, release and agreement, prior to its execution; Client  fully understand the contents thereof. This agreement shall be binding upon the client  and clients heirs, legal representatives and assigns.
   
9. Coverage plan times must be used consecutively unless otherwise agreed upon in writing with Edward Bates. Time starts when Edward Bates arrives and the time finishes when the coverage times runs out.
   
10. Photographing any specific moment is not guaranteed by Edward Bates Photography and he will not be responsible for any missed moments. The client may present Edward Bates photography with a list of suggested photos, but Edward Bates is unable to guarantee that those suggested photos, or any image will be captured.
